The full share gives you the widest variety of produce grown over the entire season (May – October), so you’ll get to try out our full range of different produce varieties. Typically, this share will include 6-8 different items in one week’s box, but it will focus on “staple” vegetables, with some specialty items on the side. So, you’re not going to get a box full of things you’ve never heard of – we bulk up the shares with familiar staple items first, such as (but not limited to) lettuces, tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, potatoes, beans, and zucchini. Then, in addition to your staples, you might see a few specialty items, such as kohlrabi, ground cherries, greens, or various herbs. Check out the complete list of what we grow here. Each type of produce will come in a manageable quantity for one week, and typically your veggies will fill one large reusable grocery bag. The full share is best suited to families of 4-6 who cook regularly, or for smaller families who cook at least once a day or enjoy canning and freezing fresh veggies for later use. You’ll get the best bang for your buck with the full share, so consider splitting with a friend! An example of a summer share might include two zucchini, two pounds of tomatoes, two pounds of potatoes, four cucumbers, two onions, two pounds of green beans, two green bell peppers, and a bundle of fresh basil.
